Child Safety Standards

Effective: March 24, 2026

Fade, developed and operated by PVR Circle, is committed to the safety and protection of all users, especially minors. This document outlines our standards and policies regarding child safety on the Fade platform.

1. Zero Tolerance for CSAE

Fade maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Any sexual content involving minors, whether real or fictional
  • Grooming or solicitation of minors for sexual purposes
  • Sharing, distributing, or requesting child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Any content that sexualizes, objectifies, or endangers children
  • Sextortion or coercion targeting minors
  • Facilitating or promoting any form of child trafficking
  • Using the platform to establish inappropriate contact with minors

Violation of this policy will result in immediate and permanent account termination without prior warning.

2. Age Requirement

Fade requires all users to be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use the platform. We enforce this requirement during account registration. If we become aware that a user is under 13, their account will be immediately terminated and all associated data will be permanently deleted.

3. Reporting & Enforcement

We take every report seriously and act swiftly:

  • In-app reporting: Users can report any content or account directly within the Fade app. Reports related to child safety are treated with the highest priority.
  • Review process: All child safety reports are reviewed promptly. Content that violates our child safety standards is removed immediately.
  • Account action: Accounts found to be in violation of these standards are permanently banned. We do not issue warnings for CSAE violations.
  • Law enforcement: We will report confirmed CSAE content and related account information to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations as required by applicable law.

4. Content Moderation

Fade employs the following measures to protect minors on the platform:

  • Community reporting: All users can flag inappropriate content. Content that receives multiple reports is automatically reviewed and may be hidden pending review.
  • Proactive monitoring: We actively work to identify and remove content that violates our child safety standards.
  • Ephemeral design: All content on Fade automatically expires and is permanently deleted within 24 hours, reducing the persistence of any harmful content.

5. Data Protection for Minors

  • We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the service (email address for authentication).
  • We do not collect real names, phone numbers, location data, or profile photos from any user.
  • We do not sell, share, or provide personal data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
  • All user-generated content is automatically and permanently deleted within 24 hours of creation.

6. Contact & Reporting

If you encounter any content on Fade that you believe violates our child safety standards, or if you have concerns about the safety of a minor on our platform, please contact us immediately:

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, please contact your local law enforcement authorities first.

7. Updates to These Standards

We may update these child safety standards from time to time to reflect changes in laws, best practices, or our platform capabilities. We will notify users of significant changes through the app. Continued use of Fade after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated standards.
